Hotel Rabin Itzam - Lanquin

Fairly clean hotel in a nice building really close to the river, the centre where the collectivos, and the valley of the mountain range. Extra care from the fairly friendly staff. Located in the center of the city, easy to find:)))

We had a great stay at this family-run hotel in the heart of Lanquin. the owner, Werner, was incredibly friendly and helpful. the room was nice and clean, and they even made it ready for us when we arrived early. the hotel offers a range of amenities, including earplugs, soap, extension leads, shampoo, and towels. the views from the hotel are stunning, with the mountains right in the valley. the kitchen serves a delicious breakfast for a reasonable price, perfect for fueling up before a tour. the staff, especially Werner, were always available and helped us arrange transportation and even retrieved our forgotten passports. a fantastic stay at Rabin.

We felt completely at ease during our stay and had no reason to complain.

The stay was very very good! the venue was set in the central position just off the mountains, the valley of the mountain range and the caves. - It also was in centre of lanquin. - the breakfasts at reasonable prices.

Our host at Hotel Rabin Itzam was amazing. He went the distance for us, organizing transport and helping with everything we needed. The hotel is clean and well located close to Semuc Champey. The communal area is nice, and the style of the hotel with its paintings and plants creates a relaxing atmosphere.

The location was great, right in the center where all the transportation pickups were. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they even treated us to some delicious local treats. One of the best aspects was the beautiful style of the hotel, with lots of paintings and plants, and amazing views of the surrounding mountains from the balconies.

One thing that bothered me was the frequent power cuts in the area. We were without electricity for several hours, although the hotel did run their generator for a short time.
